The Kind of Art That Makes You Drool!

Now that you're done with watching paint dry, you've realised you'd enjoy staring at the wall, even more, if you had a nice piece of wall art hanging there, right? Which is why today's post is about helping you to choose the right pieces to adorn your home and create your own personality and vibe and in my opinion art is a great way to do this. It's an accent that I really enjoy shopping around for (so much so, it has taken me a year to finally make a decision on what will hang in my Living Room!!)

I must admit, until I started to attend different art shows. I found the art world a little intimidating because it can be a very timely and expensive endeavour discovering who and what you like. But once I got speaking to the people behind the various mesmerising pieces and connected with the artist, I realised that, that is where my focus needed to be, because that will help you determine your style.

In the last few years with the boom of online selling and the birth of HASHTAGS like #ArtforSale it has become much easier for those who like to buy original pieces to find their perfect picture and connect with the person behind the art, one-to-one. Which is why, I adore the concept of this delightful new startup company I came across a few months back called Drool.Unlike a lot of the other online market places who take a ridiculously high fee percentage of each sale. Drool is focused on championing and financially empowering its young, creative up and coming talent. And how amazing would it feel, to know that the artist who has created this happiness for you has been fairly rewarded?

They have some stunning art and photography on display, and for those of you who are not sure of your wall art taste, then I encourage you to take their quiz so that they can match you with art to suit your style.

To get you started I've highlighted a few that stood out for me.
