A lovely surprise from Paul Antonio

A couple of weeks ago, a beautifully calligraphed envelope dropped through my letterbox. I had a sneaky suspicion that something might be on it's way, but you can imagine my utter delight when this beautiful number dropped on my doormat.

I could have torn open the envelope in haste, desperate to see what was inside, but no... this required a more delicate touch.

Inside was a lovely little note from Paul Antonio, calligrapher extraordinaire. I'd met Paul a couple of weeks earlier at the Designer Wedding Show in Battersea, where he was exhibiting. His stand was full of beautiful examples of his work and I was treated to a gorgeous little card with my name on too.

It is still perched on my mantlepiece. I'm not sure I want to put it away yet.
