This week's Etsy find | Minimonos
Another beautiful find for you today from Etsy.
The very talented and creative lady behind http Minimonos is Maite, a London based designer and maker.
Maite trained as a fashion designer and has recently discovered a passion for silk screen printing...
A little bit left field from my usual Etsy finds, but I think the pillows and bags would make beautiful alternative gifts for your bridesmaids, and the cards would make lovely wedding invitations.

"I love experimenting on natural fabrics with texture: linen, cotton calico and muslin, which I then make into pillows and accessories. I construct my own silk screens, transfer the design using a photosensitive emulsion, and then comes the best bit, the silk screening! There is a magical moment when the screen comes off the fabric, as every print is unique.
The inspiration for my designs comes from many places: my own photography of industrial landscapes in London, 19th century illustrations, nature. I am fascinated by structure and line, from the imposing lines of an electricity pylon to the intricate pattern of some twisting branches. I am interested in the relationship between the tiny and the immense."
