Oliver and Sophie's country chic Dorset wedding

Something a bit different for you this morning... rather than beautiful wedding photography, I have a beautiful a wedding film instead!

I'm so thrilled to be able to share Oliver & Sophie's beautiful wedding film trailer with you this morning. Their wedding took place last September at their local church, followed by the reception at the family home in Dorset.

Sophie told me about their engagement...

"We met through friends at a party in London, back in 2003, so had been together for six years before we got engaged! He proposed by the lakes on our farm at home in Dorset on a beautifully frosty January morning, when we took the dogs for a walk."

My mother is very creative and put most of the ideas together herself. The general theme we ran with was Indian Summer/English Country Chic. I wanted as many local suppliers as possible to stay true to my roots, despite living in London the last eight years of my life. My photographer was at School with me and I have always loved his intimate, yet unobtrusive ways of capturing people. The dress I wanted classic & chic and found it in a local bridal shop in Dorset. The flowers/details were all sourced and designed by my mother and other friends & family.

I found out about Jeff Wood, through a friend who had used another company for her videography that reside close to Jeff and recommended him. His style was exactly what I wanted, fresh & innovative, where the day was edited to create the illusion of an actual start/finish and it picked up on all the special moments that made the occasion so special. In summary it was all the little touches that made the dream day reality."
