Alexandra and Robert {part 2}
So, it looks like more snow is headed our way. Maybe we'll have a white Christmas?
Here is part 2 of Alexandra and Robert's beautiful wedding. To see part one, click here.
The DIY details
We chose English country wedding with soft baby pink as the colour theme. To add a bit of luxury we filled the loos with Jo Malone candles and soap.
We tied all the pink ribbons around the serviettes; we bought the bay trees and decorated them with lights and flowers; we made our own confetti by drying out petals throughout the year; my sister made our table plan design as a surprise and I designed our bridesmaid dresses and bought the material so I could get the look I wanted that also flattered my bridesmaids. My mum’s friend made our cake and it was delicious! We also decorated the marquee with pink balloons and tea lights on the tables and hung up a piece of ribbon for ladies to tie their hats to.

Our music was a mixture of modern pop songs and Rob’s 60s and 70s love for the Kinks and other bands of that era.
Special moments
The Church and the ceremony were the most special moments and also walking down the aisle with my dad - I wont forget those bits! The horse and carriage was very special too - it was a lovely time away from all the madness of the day to just be together alone after the service. And also, I loved Rob’s speech and just being with all our family and friends under one roof. Finally, Rob organised for a very swish looking Porche to take us away at the end of the night - with the hood down and we were sat in the back - it was a great end to the day!
One thing I learned
The horse and carriage was beautiful and well worth it. And also, having a videographer - it's so lovely looking back on photos but a video is even better!
