Agata and Stefan and their London wedding with a quirky vintage edge
Welcome to Ebury's first real wedding!
OK, so some of you may have seen this wedding on one or two of the other fab wedding blogs, but I just couldn't turn down the opportunity of featuring this jaw droppingly stunning wedding on Ebury.
As far as beautiful, elegant and timeless weddings go, Agata & Stefan have created perfection. When we first saw this wedding we fell in love with the vintage style that they've created and those flowers and the gown... well, they're just gorgeous!
The lanterns add a lovely touch to the end of a beautiful wedding, captured perfectly by Segerius Bruce.
Agata and Stefan wanted their day to be a little different with a vintage themed intimate wedding at London Claridges. Agata is originally from Poland and Stefan is Bavarian, they met and fell in love in London and this played a part in the planning of the creative shoot as well as venue choices. As a surprise Agata had the flower Edelweiss flown in from Austria to be included in the buttonholes and bridal bouquet.
Agata’s 1920’s inspired designer creation from Jenny Packham set off the vintage theme perfectly. They hired a 1960’s Route Master bus to transport the wedding guests from the ceremony venue at Chelsea Registry Office to have a few drinks on a boat on the Thames and then onto London Claridges hotel for the intimate reception. And during the evening Sav The Deceptionist showed them a trick or two.
Lastly they all made our way down to The Embankment foot bridge overlooking the London Eye and the guest wrote out their wishes and sent off Wish Lanterns into the night. What a fantastic ending to a special wedding day.
